Luke - Use the Forks !!!

I'd say I'm embarrassed to tell you how many stores I went to looking for this and how many trips it took me to said stores. But I'm not.
Somewhere somone was saying "This is not the toy you want" .... but I ignored that Obi-Wan-ism and prevailed. Unfortunately I've been on the 'wait list' here @ amazon for months....and no luck (not their fault - Hasbro isn't saturating the market I guess). I refused to pay $20 and up on ebay for a less than $7 toy.
But it's not a toy. It proudly sits on my desk at work for all to admire, "oooh and aaah" over and laugh about. And they do.
I could care less about educational value or durability. It sits on my desk!!!!
(and yes, I bought two!...one to keep in the original packaging.)

Got my "Darth Tater" at the mall yesterday! This thing is even funnier "in person" than its picture! A couple of choice lines from the packaging: "Together we shall rule as father & spud!" + "As a Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Tater was once a promising young Jedi who lost his roots!" I've been taking this thing around my office all day and getting tons of laughs! I confess - I'm 35 years old...a bit too old to be buying toys. But this thing was just too hilarious to pass up! Anyone who gets one is sure to enjoy it! (p.s. The arm pins go through the cape to hold it in place)

My fiancee and I went to 2 Toys R Us stores to get 5 of the Taters to distribute among family (all recipients were 25 and older)! It was definitley worth the trip! The idea adds a nice twist to a classic toy and movie. The best part is the lightsaber and mask. I can almost hear him say "Luke I am your Tater." Definitley a must have!
The Dark Side Is Much More Fun!

I ordered this months ago, and it finally came yesterday. SO CUTE! I'm also much more popular at my firm, because people keep coming to my office to check out the new spud. Bear in mind, it has the teeth, ears, lips and tongue, but doesn't come with the traditional Mr. Potato Head mustache. You won't miss it.
I Love this tater

I have been collecting Mr Potato Head for years ( I probably have the largest collection in the UK ) but this takes things to a new level, I am going to love this one, I think you could quite easily go further and get a stormtrooper, rebel pilot, even a princess lea using mrs P, rock on Hasbro, I will buy loads
